COMMENTS
In the spring of 1968 Wayne produced six images of lemming-people (cat. nos. 176-79) placed in highly charged atmospheres, most of the works sharing at least one plate in common. They constitute an informal series, variations on a theme, like many small groups of images produced throughout her career.  (Source: The Art of Everything, Robert Conway, 2007)
