Ibeji, Yoruba, twin figures, one female of the pair with zigzag motif on stomach, eyes with metal. Coiffure of vertical crest with lateral incising, three parallel lines on forehead and four on cheeks. Traces of blue indigo on coiffure and tukula red pigment on body. Signs of traditional washing and use, variegated beads on ankles and the other has five black waist bands, cowries hanging from right hand and metal bracelets.

9" high x 3.5" wide x 3.5" deep.

Circa early to mid 2th century.
